RADM (ret.) Finn Hansen brings current high-level experience from senior positions in the Danish armed forces to the conXus board and our clients. This new team addition will strengthen our ability to provide current and high-level advisory services to International OEMs in the defense industry.

The appointment also comes in timely preparation for a generational change on the board. After an initial period in the position, Finn Hansen will become chairman, taking over from GEN (ret.) Ove H.-G. Hoff, who has held the position since the founding of conXus in 2007.

Cliff Puckett joins conXus to further expand our capacity and experience

I am excited today to announce the addition of Cliff Puckett to the conXus team, per February 1st.

Cliff has a strong network and a diverse background from 25 years in the US Air Force, including his last posting as Chief, ODC-Denmark. Cliff’s military years are further complemented by his hands-on experience with business development in the aerospace & defense market in Northern Europe. This valuable combination will strengthen conXus’ ability to deliver on its core-services.

As Director of Government Sales in conXus, Cliff will take lead on supporting our clients in their pursuit of winning government business.

Michael Rasmussen joins to strengthen business development and capacity

Continued strong demand for conXus’ professional services is growing the company. We are therefore excited to announce that Michael Rasmussen will join us per October 1., 2015.

Michael has a strong profile in International business and the services that our Clients demand. He joins us from a position of Director of Sales at TE (now CommScope) and previously worked in Aerospace and Defense for Danish Terma.

Lockheed Martin Appoints conXus as Danish Representative for HELLFIRE and DAGR Missile Systems

Lockheed Martin recently appointed conXus as its  Kingdom of Denmark representative for the HELLFIRE and Direct Attack Guided Rocket (DAGR) missile systems. conXus will support long-term business development efforts towards Danish defense for Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control business area.

The appointment further strengthens the relationship that began when conXus was first contracted to support Lockheed Martin in 2010 for the MH-60R SEAHAWK product.

DBA Approves approves SEAHAWK® Industrial Projects

Following Denmark's SEAHAWK selection in late 2012, the industry members of Team SEAHAWK has worked to implement a range of Industrial Projects with Danish Industry. The Danish Business Authority, the Agency responsible for the Industrial Cooperation Contracts, confirmed that the team has fulfilled or received pre-approval for 50 % of the obligation only two and a half year after the selection.

The team's project development and implementation is supported by conXus in Denmark.

New Danish Industrial Co-operation Guidelines

On July 1. 2014, new Industrial Co-operation Guidelines entered into effect in Denmark. Although existing agreements remain unchanged, there will be considerate implications to on-going and future tenders.

The new regulations introduces changed multipliers, narrowed field of application, new penalty terms, just to name a few.

Optionally Piloted Black Hawk Takes Successful First Flight.

In cooperation with the U.S. Army, Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. has successfully demonstrated optionally piloted flight of a Black Hawk helicopter, a significant step toward providing autonomous cargo delivery functionality to the U.S. Army. Sikorsky Aircraft is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

The Optionally Piloted Black Hawk (OPBH) Demonstrator, known as Sikorsky’s Manned/Unmanned Resupply Aerial Lifter (MURAL) Program, conducted the successful first flight demonstration on March 11 at Sikorsky’s Development Flight Center. The demonstration was conducted through the use of Sikorsky’s Matrix™ Technologies and advanced Ground Control Station (GCS) Technologies.

The OPBH demonstrated autonomous hover and flight operations while under the control of a man-portable GCS, demonstrating the capability for expeditionary operations and critical cargo resupply.

CAE awarded contract for MH-60R simulator to Royal Danish Air Force

CAE USA was awarded a contract by the U.S. Navy to develop an MH-60R mission operational flight trainer (MOFT) for the Royal Danish Navy under the United States foreign military sale (FMS) program. CAE USA will be the prime contractor responsible for the design and manufacture of an MH-60R MOFT that will be delivered in 2016 to Karup Air Base in Denmark.

Ambassador Peter Taksøe-Jensen Visits Lockheed Martin and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation

In late July Ambassador Peter Taksøe-Jensen visited Lockheed Martin and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. The two companies will jointly supply nine MH-60R helicopters for the Danish Defense from 2016.

Opening hours during relocation

As conXus relocates to new facilities, our opening hours and responsiveness to incoming messages is expected to be irregular in a short period of time, beginning this March 18. We expect to return to normal operations no later than April 8. 2013.

Denmark goes MH-60R SEAHAWK

On November 21., 2012, a united Parliamentary Defense Committee approved the military recommendation from Danish Defense to procure the MH-60R SEAHAWk helicopter for the future maritime helicopter needs. The deal is roughly valued at DKK 4 billion.

This marked the succesful conclusion of nearly seven years of meticulous Team SEAHAWK effort, supported by conXus business development all the way.
